star : matsuoka rin x tsundere!reader

It was only a week until Christmas. The land was practically colored white, and only white, from all the snow. You were spending your Christmas alone, unless someone decided to invite you over. But, due to your personality, you didn't make many friends except for the people who actually bothered to open up to you-- the famous, and one and only tsundere of Iwatobi High School.

Sighing, you walked around town, looking to buy yourself a Christmas present. But, you heard your phone set off it's ringtone of an opening to an anime you obsessed over when no one was around. Growling, you picked it up to hear the voice of Matsuoka Rin; a friend of one of your class mates. He'd gotten pretty close to you since your first meeting. "What do you want, Matsuoka?" You spoke harshly into the phone. "I'm going Christmas shopping, and you interrupted it."
   
"Do you have an extra Christmas star for a tree? Samezuka's decorating this huge tree in the lobby and no one has a spare." He asked, seeming desperate.
   
You thought for a second, wondering if you did have a second. When your parents moved away, leaving you to fend for your own, you remember them giving you a present-- specifically a Christmas tree star. But, being the person you were, you weren't going to give it to him right away. "I do have one-"
   
"Really?!"
   
"But, I'm not sure I wanna give it to you."
   
The maroon haired swimmer's spirits dropped at your teasing. "[N-Name]!" He growled.

You laughed to yourself. "If you want it, you have to come over to my place later. In about an hour, and we'll see if you deserve it or not."

"[Name], I'm not-"

You hung up on the swimmer and dropped your phone back into your bag, thinking over the places you were making for when Rin would be there.

There was a knock at the door as you were just getting relaxed to watch an episode of [Fave Anime]. You grunted as you opened the door. "So I see you've came, Matsuoka." You said, wandering back to your leaf green couch. Rin closed the door behind him as he slipped off his winter attire. Getting right to the subject, he asked, "So what do I have to do to get that star of yours?"

Grabbing the bowl of popcorn on your coffee table, you sighed. "You sure do want this star, huh, sharkie?" Flipping off the TV, you got up and grabbed your homework that messily lay on your desk. "You have to complete my homework for me."

Rin sweat-dropped and looked at the work. It's not that it was hard, it's just that he didn't feel like doing this work to get a star. But, he swiped the pencil from your fingers and got to it.

As he worked on your work, you watched quite a few episodes of [Fave Anime], a shocking plot twist affecting your emotions. "What the hell?!" You screamed as the ending song played. "That can't happen, dammit! Not fair, not fair, not fair!" You chanted angrily, throwing your head in your milk colored throw pillow.

"What happened in-"

You grabbed a handful of popcorn and threw it at the magenta eyed male. "Get back to work, sharkie."

"Oi!" He complained, picking at the popcorn that stuck to his hair. "Show so gratitude, baka!"

Your eyes widened and rage waved through you. You threw your head out of your pillow dragged the eldest Matsuoka by his feet to the door and threw him into the snow. You then followed and picked him up, flipped him, and threw him back inside to finish his work. "I am your master, shark. You don't call me baka." You explained, throwing a piece of popcorn into your mouth.

Rin was freezing cold and his lips became blue and his skin pale as snow. Noticing this, you sighed and made your way to a closet in the hallway to your room, grabbing a red blanket. You threw it at him and he quickly scrambled to get it, wrapping it all around him.

"Thanks [Name]." Rin smirked as an idea grew in his mind. "Love you."

You turned as red as a tomato when the words came pouring out of his mouth. "S-shut up, shark! G-get to work!" You stuttered, flicking him in the temple.

The truth was, you didn't hate Rin. In fact, you like-liked him.

At the interesting sight, Rin giggled and finished up the given work.

After you finished, you climbed down the cold stairs to your basement and grabbed a small brown box that the star occupied. It was made of glass and shined when a source of light hit it.

You held out your arms, handing Rin the box. "Here, Matsuoka. Be careful with it." You demanded. "My parents gave it to me before they left."

Rin's eyes widened a bit as he wondered why you would lend someone something so precious. "Thanks, [Name]." He thanked as he got up to put his coat and boots back on. "By the way, do you mind coming to help set up? I'd like it if you came to see your star shining."

Arriving at Samezuka, you first headed to Rin's dorm to leave your coat somewhere. You were only in jeans, comfy boots, and a [Fave Color] t-shirt, but you weren't so cold because of the heating and large amount of men surrounding you. As Rin directed you to the lobby, you could hear another student walking the same path as you whisper, "She's so flat chested! Look, dude!"

You turned to the boys, furious as hell. Rin walked on a teensy bit farther, only noticing the commotion you were gonna start when you spoke. "What'd you say about me and my chest?" A dark aura seemed to outline your figure as you clenched your first, moving closer to the boys.

They looked scared from the expression on your face. "N-nothing!" One boy, with light orange hair stuttered fearfully. You grew angrier and then chased them down the dorm hallway, Rin quickly trailing after you as you kicked the boys all the way to the end of the hall.

"Hmph." You huffed, Rin then grabbed your wrist and started dragging you towards the lobby.

It was time to place the star. You watched as Rin stood on the ladder, carefully securing the star onto the holder. "Careful, sharkie." You yelled at him. Once he climbed back down, everyone began cleaning up. But, the same two rascals who had called you flat chested were messing with each other. They played Tug-A-War with a women's magazine.

Then they moved closer to the tree, but you hadn't thought of it much.

As Rin placed back the ladder by the janitors room, you watched in awe at the star. The sunlight that beamed through the window made it so that the star sparkled beautifully on the tippy top of the tree.

And then it happened.

The two rascals fell into the tree roughly and sent it towering down along with the star. Everyone's eyes widened, yours being the widest as the star-



And with that, you collapsed onto the lobby floor.

"[Name]?" A familiar voice whispered. You lay on a soft bed; a gray blanket draped over your small figure.

"The star." You murmured, not remembering too much of what happened. Then, the vision of it shattering into pieces played into your mind. "The star!" You exclaimed. You got up and threw the door open. "I'm gonna get those bastards!"

Rin ran after you, pulling you back into his dorm. For a boy's room, it was pretty clean.

"Let go! I need to go kill someone!"

The maroon haired male pinned you onto the bed as you blushed from the action. "No. You need rest, [Name]." Rin stated with a hint of fear for doing such an action to you in his voice. "We'll glue the pieces together and it'll be fixed."

You crossed your arms and out of the blue, you could feel a pressure against your lips. Eyes wide, you found Rin so close to you. As Rin pulled himself off of you, you leaned back in for another kiss, slightly embarrassed.

You both smiled, and it was a special moment because you've never smiled so genuinely to anyone before.

"You can be my star, [Name]." Rin said, pecking you on the forehead.

You flicked him on the head at something so cheesy. "Make sure I don't shatter like the last, baka."
